Official statement with regards to coronavirus (COVID-19)
L. van Heek Textiles is closely monitoring the situation with regards to coronavirus (COVID-19). In particular, we are following the latest developments and measures advised by the RIVM. At the moment there are several measures in place. Should the government call for additional measures, L. van Heek Textiles will follow them up immediately. We are taking the situation very seriously and do everything that is in our power to prevent further spread of the virus.
We ask our customers, suppliers and employees to take the following precautions into account:
Customer visits
We ask you not to visit our company if you had visited any of the risk areas (China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, Iran and parts of Italy) or other areas where the virus has been detected less than 14 days ago and you are experiencing any symptoms that may indicate the presence of the virus.
Hygiene
Various instructions on how to wash hands have been communicated among our staff. In addition, extra disinfecting soap dispensers have been installed. Personnel is advised to wash their hands regularly in accordance with the given instructions. The toilets at the company have disposable towels and soap as standard.
We also ask the staff to follow the RIVM advice: Wash your hands regularly, cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow, use paper handkerchiefs and do not shake hands.
Business continuity
At the moment L. van Heek Textiles produces at full capacity. Deliveries to customers and from suppliers are not at risk. This is however the current situation and may change in the coming period.
